MOUNT PUNDAQUIT TREK AT ZAMBALES

Our Bus to San Antonio Zambales The Group Assembly Time was 1030 pm last May 11, 2012 at Victory Liner Pasay. 24 Conquerors Confirmed going to Anawangin but Only 17 people left in Manila to San Antonio Zambales The other 6 Conquerors followed us in Anawangin due to their night Shift Schedule. We Left Manila around 1145 pm Friday and Bus land at San Antonio at Exactly 4:00am.
 Stop Over at San Fernando Pampanga around 1:30am with John Bueno; Michael Banawa and Christopher Sta Cruz
After introducing the newbies in the group we decided to go to the market for the food to bring at Anawangin. At Exactly 4:30 am

The Market was still Close so the group have the chance for the photo op. 
 

The Wet and Dry Market was located right behind that City Hall.

It was around 6:00 in the morning when The Conquerors arrived at the quite town of Brgy. Pundaquit. At the Jump Off. Ive Met Kuya Alex our Boatman and Kuya Noel Our Guide to Pundaquit. They were both nice and approachable.Everything was set and good to go.Our Bags and food were loaded at Kuya Noels Boat. Going to Anawangin via Boat ride will take about only 30minutes. But since we are the Conquerors we chose to Trek via Pundaquit to Anawangin which will take for about 3-4 hours we would like the take the harder ways but more fun and adventures thats the Conquerors.


Along the way this Dog knew our Team Leader so we had a chance for the photo op with him.

 It was The S.O.P of the group in every trek we started it on Prayer for the safetyness of each members. Hannah Budoso one of the newbie in the group led the prayer.
And the Trek Begins at exactly 630 in the morning on May 20, 2012 
with Jaypee, Jeremiah and Christopher

After 1hour of trek these are all the faces. And along the way we have met these group of people who were not a mountaineers or hikers which have nothing on their hand even water. That is why they felt so exhausted. The Group offered them something to eat like the trail food for them to get a booster going to summit which takes more than an hour still. We were still waiting for the others here. 
Weve reached the Rocky Terrain of Pundaquit.

Finally after 3 hours of Trekking we were on the Top of the World. The Summit of Pundaquit was 
unbelievably amazing and breathtaking. Never missed out any chance for the photo op.

 After 2 hours of Trekking 1 hour Photo op at the Summit. The Group decided to Descent to Anawangin Cove at around 10:00 in the Morning. 
 Finally! After one hour of descent from Mount Pundaquit, We were thankful and Bless arrived in one piece at Anawangin Cove. Along The Way we have seen those bunch of guys who was amazed with our group because of the thing we did. They were also from Manila. It just so happend that when we get to the Anawangin Entrance they were there and did get a chance to have a photo op with us.

What a great memories with these group of happy people, we were all tired and famished so for us to relieved the stress after 4 hours of trekking ascend and descent an ice cream or an ice drop was good enough to replenish our hunger and thirst.
For those of you who would like to go to Zambales Trek at  Mount Pundaquit; Traverse to Anawangin Cove, and Island Hopping at Capones and Camara heres the Itinerary of our Group;
